Malawi Mission Trip 2010

Annual Mission Trip to Malawi, Africa July 5-15, 2010 Sponsored by: WorldHope Corps, Inc. Led by: Dr. Michael J. Christensen, Founder, WorldHope Corps, Inc. Hosted by: Mzuzu United Methodist Church DATES: July 5-16, 2010 (10 days) Travel Plan: Depart New York on Monday, July 5 to Lilongwe via Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) Arrive in Lilongwe, Malawi, on July 6 Return on Thursday, July 15 and arrive JFK on Friday, July 16. Destination: Malawi, a small land-locked, developing country of 12 million people bordering Zambia, Tanzania and Mozambique, is particularly vulnerable to famine and disease, and suffers from extreme poverty and AIDS. The July Mission Trip team will carry out its mission in and around Mzuzu City in Northern Malawi where WorldHope Corps supports HopeHomes orphan care program, Hope Tailoring School and Village Well projects in partnership with Mzuzu United Methodist Church and Malawi Shalom Zone Committee. We congratulate our Hope Scholarship Recipients in Malawi

WorldHope Corps, through its sponsors, provided t total of 16 Hope Scholarships in 2009.  We celebrate the good success of four student recipients who completed their certificate studies and landed good jobs in Malawi, as Pastor Copeland reports: Rev Michael, I am overwhelmed with the exceeding goodness of God over the Hope Scholarship matters.   You can imagine what great favor God has lavished on the Hope Scholarship program. SUCCESS STORY 1. Mubabazo has done so well in his Certificate In Banking 2. Eunice chipanda has passed the exams in Certificate in Financial Accounting. 3. Noel, our student of the 2009 year has just been employed at one of the banks. 4.  Jonathan, as I said before is also employed by a good firm called nations publications. HOPE SCHOLARSHIP IS BEARING FRUIT. I am glad that you are the chief patron of this initiative. God bless you. I pray that God will give you more grace to raise funds to support this program.
